Access at Steady
Steady is designed for participants, nominees, providers, and workers who may use different devices, input methods, assistive technologies, and support arrangements.
Last updated 29 May 2026Our target
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 AA across public pages and core account workflows. That means clear structure, keyboard access, visible focus, readable contrast, form labels, and status messages that do not depend on colour alone.
What is already built in
- Public navigation, auth, onboarding, enquiry, account, provider, and worker workflows use semantic landmarks and labelled controls.
- Forms show validation near the field and avoid placeholder-only labels.
- Consent, document, and readiness states use text labels alongside visual indicators.
- Mobile account and consent flows keep primary actions reachable without hiding the page context.
Known priorities
Before launch we will complete a route-by-route keyboard pass, screen-reader pass, colour-contrast review, reduced-motion review, and mobile zoom review. We will also check generated emails and document upload states for clear names, errors, and recovery paths.
